I downloaded some mpeg2 files to burn to dvd and watch but some play jerky, like it will freeze for a split second all the time. and it's only files from av geeks files that do it, I have downloaded tons of mpeg2's from prelinger and all over and never had this problem. and it's not even all av geek files, it's only some like joy ride and appreciating your parents and soapy the germ fighter. I thought maybe it would play fine in the dvd player after burning it but nope still does it. is there anyway to fix this? and it only does it with a few mpeg2 files from here, every other mpeg2 works fine

Those files are 24p MPEG-2 files. The DVD authoring program you are using might be trying to play them as 29.97 fps files and that is why you are getting the occasional halting frames

Actually, I can't figure out how to download anything. Sorry to stray, but I don't know where else to goo to find out how to download the film I want.

I see no download button, and no matter what I 'right-click' on, I get zip.

Please: I can see the film I want -- The Big Parade -- on my screen and I joined and download a recommended player.

What now? Where do you actually go to actually download the film so you can see it?

Thanks for your patience. I've been surfing this site for 30 minutes -- FAQs, forums, instructions -- and can't find any substantive information. Please advise.
Thanks Billteacher

What's the URL of the film you are trying to watch?
